Green Seattle Day 2012

The Green Seattle Partnership aims at “Creating a sustainable network of healthy forested parklands throughout Seattle, supported by an aware, engaged community.” Without a group effort, Seattle is at risk of losing 70% of its forest in the next 20 years.

So this year on Saturday November 3rd, 2012 please join the Green Seattle Partnership along with 1,000’s of your neighbors for Green Seattle Day 2012. This event is the kick off to our planting season and is a celebration of our neighborhood parks and committed neighbors. This is a great opportunity to get involved and spend time with family, friends, and neighbors while doing something good for your community.

There are a variety of work locations in the Seattle area. To see a map of all the locations you can visit Green Seattle Website.

The locations nearest to our neighborhood are the Seward Park, Coleman Park, Madrona Park, Leschi Nature Area, and Frink Park.
