The Blue Angels arrived in Seattle today to practice for their Seafair air show performances this weekend. The Blue Angels will fly on Saturday and Sunday between 1:30 and 3:00 pm over Lake Washington. Today, the Blue Angels have media flights at noon and this afternoon, a flight over the Parade of Ships on Elliot Bay. The pilots have scheduled practices for Thursday and Friday before the weekend performances. A full schedule can be seen here. If you’re in the Seattle area, especially in neighborhoods near Lake Washington, you have more than one chance to see the Blue Angels in flight. Neighborhoods like Madison Park, Capitol Hill, and Mount Baker are sure to see the jets and hear some noise. The Blue Angels are even seen flying over Downtown Seattle. If I’m lucky, I’ll hear them today from the office! For more information, please visit the official Seafair website.
